Our vessel takes up to a maximum of 100 passengers which ensures your day on the reef is both service and safety orientated. Your day begins with a morning cruise along the Mulgrave river. From the mouth of the river our destination on the The Great Barrier Reef is already in sight, making it the shortest open sea crossing in North Queensland. Welcome to Normanby Island, one of the five stunning islands that comprise the Frankland Islands. Your day starts at around 7.30am if you get picked up from your hotel and returns back to your hotel by around 5pm.

You can see the coral reefs around the island by snorkelling or through a glass bottom boat coral viewing tour, or both. Please make your selection via the price table below.

Please note that becasue this reef trip departs from the Mulgrave River, about 45 minutes drive south of Cairns, you are encouraged to book the return hotel transfers so that you can be assured to find the right place to board the boat.
